Dr. Terence Lim Sey Kiat is a senior consultant urologist and the medical director of Assure Urology & Robotic Centre in Singapore. He has more than 15 years of practice experience and is the former Chief of Changi General Hospital’s Department of Urology.
Dr. Lim has special interests in endourological and minimally invasive urological surgeries and has subspecialty training in laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgeries of the kidneys and prostate like partial nephrectomies and radical prostatectomies.
Dr. Lim holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and Master of Medicine in Surgery from the National University of Singapore. He previously joined KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore General Hospital, and Tan Tock Seng Hospital for his basic medical training before pursuing his advanced specialty training in urology at Changi General Hospital. He also received fellowship training in urology at Yonsei University and Severance Hospital in Korea.
Dr. Lim has a keen interest in clinical research and clinical innovation projects and has published in international peer-reviewed journals and written book chapters. He has also presented in various local and international conferences and is often invited as a speaker at international and regional conferences. Besides his clinical practice, Dr. Lim was also actively involved in the education of medical students and residents and was an appointed adjunct Associate Professor at Dukes-NUS Medical School and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He is a member of the Robotic Surgery Society of Singapore, Academy of Medicine of Singapore, Singapore Urological Association, Singapore Society for Mens Health, and Singapore Cancer Society.
