Healthy Heart Specialist Centre is proud to be able to provide Cardiologist Consultation for the patient who requires Heart Specialist evaluation and management.

We possess all the Imaging Scanners required for the Heart assessment and this includes ECG, treadmill test, CT scanner to assess for CT calcium score, CT coronary angiogram and MRI scanner to assess the viability of heart muscle and heart function, valves, septal defect and shunt quantification, Xray to assess for Chest and Heart size, Ultrasound to perform Echocardiogram to assess for heart function, valves, muscle thickness and chambers size.

We perform various blood tests to assess conventional cardiovascular risk. We also perform antiplatelet therapy assessment to assess the effect of the blood thinner on our body to assess if the antiplatelet medication is too strong on the body which increase the risk of bleeding and also to assess if the antiplatelet medication is too weak where the medication is rather ineffective to provide blood thinning to protect our heart and body.

Dr Wong Siong Sung

Dr Wong Siong Sung is the Senior Consultant Cardiologist and Medical Director of Healthy Heart Specialist Centre (HHSC) and Somerset Imaging Centre (SIC) in Singapore. Prior to embarking in his private practice at HHSC, while he was at NUH, he strengthened and took the level of CT coronary angiogram and radionuclide myocardial perfusion imaging services to a higher level. He is one of the pioneers in the establishment of the novel technique of the quantification of myocardial blood flow and coronary flow reserve with an innovative Tc-99m sestamibi dynamic single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) technique in Singapore.

Dr Wong is proficient in communicating in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia and Malay, Hokkien and Foochow.

Besides, our centre is taking care of every individual holistically where we also help to perform various scans and endoscopy including gastroscopy and colonoscopy to assess for cancer and various diseases, evidence of stroke, assessment of body composition, bone density and to help to minimize the risk of the disease and manage the condition professionally.
